New Dancehall, Reggae & Soca Riddims – Tracklists, Producers & Releases (1960s-2026)

What is a Riddim?

A riddim is the instrumental backbone of reggae, dancehall and soca music — the drum and bass groove that producers voice multiple artists on. One riddim can carry dozens of songs, each artist bringing their own lyrics and melody to the same instrumental. It is the foundation of Jamaican and Caribbean music culture.
